Welcome to the Accessibility Design Competition (ADC), an engaging contest that fosters an inclusive mindset among participants, empowering them to utilize their knowledge and problem-solving abilities to address real-life social issues.

Final KV [4x on White].png

The Accessibility Design Competition (ADC) was initially launched in 2020 by the RMIT Careers, Alumni & Industry Relations department, in consultation with RMIT Wellbeing. Since then, the competition has become an annual event that provides unique opportunities for students to partner with industry experts. Through this collaboration, they aim to generate innovative ideas that promote inclusivity for individuals with disabilities in the workplace.

In 2024, the ADC is dedicated to achieving two significant objectives that will make a lasting impact:

1. Increasing awareness among students and businesses about the employability situation faced by individuals with disabilities in Vietnam.

2. Proposing innovative solutions to expand employment opportunities for people with disabilities, benefiting both businesses and these individuals, fostering the development of a more inclusive workforce.

The solutions proposed in the ADC are not limited to physical products aimed at assisting individuals with disabilities. Instead, the competition warmly welcomes all types of solutions that focus on enhancing their employability, whether they are tangible or intangible. These solutions may directly target people with disabilities or cater to those who seek to assist them.
